This original textiles landscape has been embroidered by layering the background with hand-selected fabrics chosen for their texture and colour to build up a collage and then stitched using various techniques to build up the texture of the landscape, once the background is made the seed heads are appliquéd and free hand embroidered into the foreground. Clouds have been sewn using wool and various threads to build a wispy character to the skies.
